UltraProx: a low-cost proximity card reader.
ProxTech is proud to announce the launch of its latest card reader type, the UltraProx.
This new reader is completing ProxTech’s range of read-only card readers at the low end. Combining the well-known high quality of ProxTech’s readers with the very interesting cost price and a new and attractive design, the UltraProx will soon become a standard in its domain.
The UltraProx reader works on the 125 kHz frequency and is suited for EM4102 and Hitag 2 in Public Mode A. Due to the fully potted housing, the reader can be installed both indoors and outdoors.

Long proven technology
UltraProx readers are based on the long proven technology of the ProxLine readers to give total satisfaction to the end-users.

Wiegand and clock&data interfaces integrated
UltraProx readers have 2 interfaces already built-in. By picking the corresponding connections, the user can freely select between a standard 26-bit Wiegand output and a clock & data (magstripe ABA track II) output.

Indoor and outdoor use
The complete sealed and weatherproofed housing makes the UltraProx readers ideally suited for both indoor and outdoor mounting.

Mullion reader offers read range up to 120 mm
Using a standard ISO card, UltraProx offers the user a comfortable read range of up to 12 cm.

Bicolour LED and buzzer for user feedback
An integrated bicolour LED and a sounder provide the user with the necessary feedback when a card is presented to the UltraProx reader.

Modern design housing
The new and modern design of the UltraProx housing offers an easy integration in a wide variety of architectural strategies.

ClipTag: a new clip-on button tag
At this moment, transponders are available in a wide variety of shapes: cards, key fobs, wristbands, … But all of these are either not really discrete, or quite expensive. Our newest item in our transponder product range, the ClipTag overcomes this problem. A small 2 x 2 x 0,5 cm square tag is all it is. A very intelligent clip allows this tag to be clicked on all standard wristbands, buttons, …. Or alternatively the ClipTag can be completed with an additional clip to attach the ClipTag to all pieces of clothing.
Now there’s no more nervous searching for your card or key fob. Now you and your visitors don’t have to run around with a giant identification plate on your chest. Identification and access control can easily be done with the small and discrete ClipTag.
The ClipTag is available in a wide variety of RFID technologies: EM4102, Legic, Hitag,… That way it can easily be combined to fit in with your existing access control and time and attendance systems. Also a large selection of colours and the option to print a logo on the ClipTag can be offered to support your company logo and colours.
