Future-safe Time and Access Management fits the bill.
Setting up a future-safe Time management system with access control functions for the Customs Service in Baden-Württemberg, calls for a corresponding level of know-how about the operation of security within governmental bodies.
Data protection and data security have the highest priority. An example of this is protecting access to sensitive employeebased data with multiple-passwords.
The state Building Surveyor's Office in Baden-Baden was planning the set-up of a demanding, future-safe and expansive Time management system for the some 80 State Treasury locations in Baden-Württemberg with a financial scope of around 850,000 Euros.
The Project Manager was Frank Motz, a senior engineer at the surveyor's office. "primion showed itself to be offering the most powerful system, amongst the companies who took part in the bid competition" stated Mr Motz.
Alongside the general requirements
- The system fulfilled the basic requirements for flexible working hours as laid down for German government employees. It is possible to set-up individual working patterns for public service employees in line with current contractual requirements to include all the directives for vacation recording, etc. Further, the system delivers special break rules that are dependant on the amount of time worked.
- The system delivers a high level of user comfort and ergonomics through the time recording terminals. The DT 800 with its graphic display gives very clear information about current flexitime balances and offers very simple operation. An intelligent, event-controlled network communication was established, which kept network data traffic in online mode down to an absolute minimum.
- The DT 800s have a downloadable operating system, which means that
updates can be made remotely. This keeps maintenance very simple and very
cost-effective.
