EverFocus on IFSEC 2005 in Birmingham/UK
IFSEC 2005 took place in Birmingham/UK from 16 to 19 May, 2005.
On the EverFocus Electronics (Europe) GmbH stand, the show visitors used the opportunity to get familiar with the most recent CCTV product developments.
The latest EverFocus DVR generation with MPEG-4 compression technology was introduced in Birmingham. The MPEG-4 range includes various DVRs with 4 up to 16 video inputs. All MPEG-4 devices are equipped with duplex function for simultaneous recording and playback, programmable motion detection (16x12) for each channel and an Ethernet interface for network remote surveillance and control. All recording parameters can be set individually for each channel; real-time audio signals are recorded at any video recording speed. The DVRs are controlled via the multi-language on-screen display; recorded data can be archived through USB port. The 4-channel (EDR 410 H) and 8-channel (EDR 810 H) desktop devices provide one hot swappable hard disk. Both models are optionally available for mobile use (EDR 410 M / EDR 810 M). The 9- and 16-channel devices EDR 920 / 1620 / 1640 are equipped with two hot swappable hard disks and offer 100 IPS maximum recording speed (EDR 1640: 200 IPS). By connecting the external disk array EDA 800 s, the total recording capacity of these DVRs can be extended to more than 11 terabytes.
The 1/3” high resolution colour camera EQ 600 WDII delivers excellent images in sceneries with high contrast through the integrated “Wide Dynamic” processor and by using Digital Pixel System (DPS) technology. Each pixel is processed independently and corrected if necessary in order to receive a clear and detailed image. The DPS technology core feature is the integration of an analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) in each sensor pixel, converting the image to digital format directly at the recording point. Blooming and smear effects which may occur under extreme light conditions are removed through the sensor architecture, resulting in high resolution images (480 TV lines). EQ 600 WDII offers a user-friendly on-screen display menu and intuitive control functions. It’s the best choice for retail applications, building lobbies and car park entries as well as for all areas where contrasting light conditions are an issue.
Furthermore, EverFocus presented their advanced colour camera series featuring 520 TV lines. Five different models – EQ 350 HQ (1/3” colour camera), EZ 350 HQ (1/3” weatherproof colour camera), ED 350 HQ (1/3” mini dome colour camera), EHD 350 HQ (1/3” rugged dome colour camera) and EI 350 HQ (1/3” compact colour camera) – being suitable for all application round off the camera range
