Wireless CCTV and Wireless Alarm Systems.

Tag Guard Systems has achieved success by recently winning several orders from blue-chip customers for its unique combination of wireless alarm and Wireless CCTV security and surveillance.

The systems use the benefits of wireless communications to allow quick and very economical installations.  The state-of-the-art technology provides superb functionality and allows the user great flexibility.  Tag Cam and Tag Alarm are used both internally and externally and permit visual surveillance and recording of images.  The digital monitoring system makes the task of searching through archives very simple when compared to older analogue systems.

Recent schemes have included external areas within retail parks where property managers are faced with the difficult issues of health and safety and deterring theft. If the external areas are not treated properly damage to and theft from cars can affect the attitude of potential shoppers.  Individual stores within retail parks will generally already have surveillance systems within their store to monitor the activities of shoppers and to cut down on theft.  A professional property management company generally manages the external areas as part of the overall facility. The existence of the system provides a huge deterrent effect.

A major attraction in the solution offered by Tag Guard Systems is the speed of installation and the absence of cabling.  The benefits are clear.  It is possible to put cameras and alarm system detectors exactly where they need to be rather than having to compromise on the location to suit the positions of cable ducts.  It is also possible to place equipment where appropriate cable runs would not be practical.  The systems are quick to install, highly responsive and economical.

The TagCam system allows viewing on site and remote monitoring from Tag Guard Systems 24-hour control room.  The client therefore has the opportunity to monitor and review cameras live on site but also to have the system monitored remotely in quiet hours.  Remote access also allows a client to have the ability to view any site from any location with appropriate communications.  This tool is extraordinarily valuable for senior managers who do not necessarily wish to visit sites but nonetheless have real interest in observing progress and activity.

The interface between the TagAlarm and TagCam systems has unique advantages.  Camera images can be taken of precisely the location where activity is occurring.  An alarm activation causes the camera to be pointed directly to a predetermined view within seconds.  The recorded images are therefore likely to be capturing the cause of the activation.  This is a significant improvement over existing systems where tracking an intruder has often proved difficult.  The alarm activity will also be dealt with simultaneously at the Tag Guard monitoring centre where all events are logged for reporting to customers at a later date.

Tag Guard Systems won two DTI Smart awards in the early stages of the TagCam technical development.  The awards clearly recognised the technical excellence and assisted the company in developing unique features.
