Versalift showcases easy ‘walk-in’ bucket at SED 2005

Risk assessment for the use of mobile plant will be a little easier with Versalift’s introduction of the walk-in cage, a new option on its range of vehicle-mounted platforms.

Versalift unveils the ergonomically designed, new walk-in bucket at SED 2005 (Avenue O Stand 316).  Offering greater comfort, convenience and safety for the user, this exciting new basket concept will be shown on the ET38NF platform (14.2m working height & 7.3m outreach) mounted on a 5.2 tonnes Iveco Daily.

A unit will also be available for closer inspection under cover within Versalift’s brand new sales and hospitality suite. The new Versalift ET36NF Bremach Extreme 4 x 4 unit, on show on the Fourtec stand in the SED Truck Zone (Avenue R Stand 508), also features the new basket.

The self-closing, inward opening door provides much easier access for the user. It eliminates the duck-under action required to pass under the fixed guardrail of conventional buckets. The solid door offers greater protection from the wind and rain. It also gives operatives a more enclosed feeling and an enhanced sense of security at height. Toe space in the bucket has been improved for greater manoeuvrability. The glass fibre construction bucket features a modified control box with a repositioned and restyled housing.

There will be a price supplement for Versalift’s walk-in bucket over the standard 'bob-under' bucket.
