This article shows the range of Security Divisions at Aquila Associates Ltd.
Our 'Security Division' provides the following professional services:
- Static Officers: On-site manned guarding services.
- Mobile Officers: Mobile Patrols, Alarm Response & Keyholding Duties.
- Specialist Officers: Close Protection, VIP Security Officers, Process Serving, Investigations, Asset Recovery & Surveillance.
- K9 Support : Patrolling, Dog Training & Dog Sales (Q4 2005).
Static Officers :
Our Officers are “Insured, Trained and where applicable Licensed”
All officers are fully trained and licensed in accordance with the Security Industry Authority, ahead of the March 2006 deadline set for security officers.
Our officers also receive the following training:
- Fire Marshall
- First Aid
- Health & Safety
- Drugs Awareness
- Conflict in the work place
- Incident management
Certain officers are chosen for specialist courses such as:
- Close protection
- Traffic Management
- Covert Search techniques
- Static Officers
Mobile Officers
These officers will perform various tasks including, alarm response, basic patrols and keyholding duties.
They are trained to a higher standard than our static officers and generally have been part of our static officer team prior to employment in our mobile units.
We use highly visible vehicles, which act as a good deterrent.
Key Holding & Alarm Response
The aim is provide a local service for local businesses and home users. Using trained, professional staffs we provide a professional service.
Utilising an on call duty officer, the aim is to reach the activated alarm within 20 minutes of the activation or notification by the police, using a marked vehicle, operated by a fully trained and uniformed officer. Combining this with the key holding database launch in early 2005.
We also be providing home / car Keyholding services, which would allow customers to leave a spare set of keys in a sealed envelope in our ops room, which would mean if for any reason they locked themselves out it would save them at least £100 + in locksmith fee’s. The charge will be under £5 per month.

- Investigators both private and traffic
- Asset recovery
- Surveillance
K9 Support Services
It is intended in Mid 2005 to set up a K9 unit, providing patrolling officers with K9’s. Using certificated K9’s and officers.
Along with this service would follow K9 training for obedience and protection.
