LEGIC® takes off with portable terminals from Littech technology
LEGIC Identsystems Ltd, the worlds leading supplier of secure contactless smart card technology, has appointed Littech technology as its latest licence partner in Italy.
Littech was formed in 1997, using its founding partners' 20 years of experience in the intelligent cards sector. The company was quick to establish itself in its native Italy and in other European countries, gaining recognition for its range of special customer services and filling a niche in the market as a system integrator for memory and smart cards.
Right from the start, Littech decided to market products and services that are tailored to meet the specific requirements of its customers as well as providing excellent consulting services to ensure the efficient use of products once in use.
Today, their Unitron range of portable terminals is a popular choice for a wide range of smart card applications while their compact user-friendly APR 2K01 terminal operates in stand alone, link or smart terminal modes and reads, stores, modifies and writes information into all types of contactless memory and smart cards simply and rapidly. The company can also provide a comprehensive range of chip cards, in both memory card and smart card formats.
Franco De Biasi, General Manager of Littech, said: Our appointment as LEGICs new Italian licence partner gives us access to the secure, state-of-the-art LEGIC technology platform for contactless smart cards in the 13.56 MHz range. More and more customers not only want a secure, but also a convenient solution. This partnership allows us to serve our clients with a very flexible and comfortable solution based on the LEGIC all-in-one-card technology into our range of portable handheld terminals and software applications.
