Mitsubishi presents its new highlight:

The DX-TL2500E – a new digital time-lapse recorder with integrated multiplexer. With the DX-TL2500E, Mitsubishi Electric has introduced a new high-performance product to its range of digital time-lapse recorders.

This maintenance-free recorder is ideal for a broad spectrum of security applications. It features an integrated multiplexer and 16 FBAS camera inputs, for a recording speed of 50 images per second. Via two separate video outputs, footage can be viewed in various forms (sequential, split or spot functions). The camera inputs can be adjusted to record at five different levels of image quality.

The DX-TL2500E comes with a 250 GB hard drive as standard equipment, and it can be upgraded internally to a capacity of up to 360 / 750 GB or externally to a maximum capacity of 6 x 2 terabytes.

Backup data is stored on Compact Flash cards or HDD – and internal data can be further secured by generating a mirror copy. In addition, the recorder is equipped with an SCSI interface for external HDDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs or MOs (magnetic optical discs) as well as an RS-232 interface for remote control. Alarm recording is activated via motion detection, alarm contacts or a combination of both. And in test mode, users can individually configure the motion detection feature of each camera input as required.

Each camera can be adjusted to any of three levels of sensitivity. The DX-TL2500E is also outfitted with audio recording capacity, and it supports a circular buffer for all cameras. With its practical jog shuttle and on-screen menu, the DX-TL2500E is extremely simple to operate. It can be quickly and easily programmed to meet individual needs. Thanks to intelligent search functions, recorded images are located and retrieved in an instant.

The digital recorder is easily integrated into existing systems by means of an RJ-45 interface, and TCP/IP makes control via PC trouble-free. Optional software for special network control incl.  All necessary features will be available soon.

Its video outputs in FBAS and S-VHS, for spot-alarm function etc., can be configured according to individual wishes. And for controlling dome-speed cameras, for tracking purposes etc., this versatile recorder is equipped with RS-422 and RS-485 interfaces. Details such as a timer program, status display and auto-setup round off the new time-lapse recorder’s outstanding performance.
