The events on September 11th in USA highlight the fact that the threat of terrorism is increasing every year. Terrorists strike indiscriminately with the intent to bring publicity to their cause. Airlines, because of their high visibility, have always been a favourite target of these terrorist organisations. It is a sad fact of life that in-flight terrorist bombings leave no survivors.
