The National Trust for Scotland
The National Trust for Scotland is the conservation charity that protects and promotes Scotland's natural and cultural heritage for present and future generations to enjoy. With its magnificent interiors and elegant Georgian proportions, Pollok House is considered one of Glasgows premier venues. This impressive mansion, begun in the mid-18th century and extended in the Victorian period, is set in 1000 acres of Country Park, yet it is just ten minutes from Glasgows city centre.
The National Trust for Scotland is now pleased to introduce the newly renovated boardroom at this magnificent venue. It is a perfect location for a quiet and private meeting of up to fifteen people. Refreshments and audio equipment can be made available. Why not also take the opportunity to enjoy the fabulous dining experience in the Edwardian Kitchen Restaurant or the Servants Hall by incorporating lunch or dinner into your day.
Alternatively, meeting facilities are also available at The David Livingstone Centre in Blantyre. Here the conference rooms are the ideal venue for any meeting or training day. Individual rooms can be booked, although clients may prefer to book more than one room to allow for-breakaway groups during training sessions, or to ensure exclusive use of the facility. Audio-visual equipment and an OHP are also available.
On the other side of the country you will find Charlotte Square in Edinburgh where No 28 provides an elegant setting for board meetings and dinners. The Queen Charlotte Suite is named after George IIIs consort who gave her name to Charlotte Square, which The Boardroom overlooks. These rooms highly convenient locations for meetings, seminars and workshops in the centre of Edinburgh. The Boardroom may be arranged theatre-style for up to forty, or in traditional boardroom style for up to twenty guests.
All unique settings for corporate events, Pollok House, The David Livingstone Centre and No 28 Charlotte Square can add extra prestige to product launches, conferences or client dinners. The venues, together with the Trusts professional event management team, ensure every event will be a truly memorable occasion.
