The National Security Training Group
The National Security Training Group is a consortium of certified trainers who have combined their talents and created distance learning for the security and law enforcement professions. These trainers have created individual courses and certification programs to professionalize the line officer through distance learning.
Every course is manufactured only when ordered. The buyer receives a printed copy that has the date the course was created and their name on every page.
Every course is updated at least every 3 months. This assures the student they get the absolute newest information possible. New text and new graphics are continually being added to update training and testing. That means no old textbooks, no old information, and students get a constantly updated program.
Every course requires the student to take a proctored exam so their knowledge is credibly tested. All courses are written in a "Programmed Learning Text" method so questions are asked throughout the course on material and reinforce the learning taking place.
Every certification program requires the student complete five projects. These projects are tied directly to where they work. This impresses on their manager and the security companys clients that the student is actively engaged in training which directly benefits them.
The combination of constantly updated information, proctored examinations, personalized study materials, and project-driven certifications make the NSTG approach to distance training the best in the industry!
