The VersaCam family of Internet cameras can be used for all your applications requiring remote CCTV and support communications over LAN, WAN, dial-up and wireless networks (GSM and WLAN). The cameras utilise Wavelet image compression for a state of the art solution to maximise image quality for a given bandwidth. The VersaCams are uniquely appropriate to a wireless environment because of the attributes of the digital images captured.
In recognition of our outstanding research in developing Telesight®, a GPRS solutions for the wireless surveillance, Pentax have awarded us with the "Preferred European Partner" status for GPRS". We can now offer you Telesight® for a truly mobile solution for those needing wireless surveillance that will operate literally ANYWHERE a mobile signal can be received. This supports SMS notification of events and alarms and immediate image viewing on handheld PDAs and phones.
We supply the complete portfolio of products to support the VersaCam including first class Pentax optical lenses. There are 4 cameras in the Versacam range. They are:
1) Standard VersaCam - Internet .JPG camera
2) IC-360 - PTZ built-in
3) IC4 - 4 channel video server
4) IC-R20 - 4 channel video server & DVR
Uniquely there are 5 ways to connect to a VersaCam to your network:
1) Standard analogue PAL Video
2) Standard analogue phone line (built-in modem)
3) Ethernet LAN/WAN
4) Wireless Local Area Network - WLAN 802.11
5) GPRS Mobile connection using Telesight®
PLUS, you can connect these cameras into your existing CCTV network to simply offer all the benefits of Internet Cameras to your exiting system.
