County Durham Development Company

The County Durham Development Company (CDDC) is the inward investment and local business support arm of Durham County Council in England’s northeast and administers the Council's 'Financial Incentives for Business' scheme.

The company was established in 1987 to reinforce the Council's long-standing commitment to economic regeneration. Our aim is simple: to promote and develop business and manufacturing opportunities within the County.

We do this in three ways: by seeking out potential inward investors, whether British or international; by supporting local businesses; and by encouraging trade development.

Together with our extensive business contacts, local knowledge and database resources, this means every client receives personal and tailored rather than pre-packaged support.
