Exigence I-Vision went from concept to field test and full production in 18 months. This helmet integrated thermal vision provide hands-free vision in no-light, smoke, or dust and is unaffected by adverse weather or lights. It is proven in confined space and urban search, hand and crew served weapon aiming, patrol, and driving vehicles and boats. It incorporates a wireless transmitter allowing video to be viewed and captured at remote sites and shared within a network at 400m range, 10 km or worldwide. Expansion of the wireless to include other stationary, vehicle, or airborne imagers is possible by simply adding wireless modules – thereby providing a wire-free, integrated data-sharing system.

Capitalizing on this development Exigence designed the Modular Tactical Thermal System. MTTS uses a compact 250-gram stand-alone thermal viewer with integrated wireless that is multi-functional. It can be used as a handheld, weapon mounted, fixed, head mounted, or used with HAZMAT/NBC suits with a range of 4-500 meters. When fit into special mounts the module can be externally powered, triple the range, and be used on vehicles, tripods and with crew weapons.

Exigence systems are in service and field proven with police, national government security units, special operations, SWAT and response units, combat units and both wilderness and urban rescue teams worldwide. Exigence research and development continues adapting its technology to address the needs of the user.
