Time-lapse digital video recording systems featuring mass storage devices are in increasing demand.

In response, FAST has developed a new DVR series, which will be released at the Security 2004. Advanced components of the existing technology are packed into a new compact system offering maximum price-performance ratios according to the current market needs.

FAST’s new alpha blue series DVR is available as either 8/16 or 24/32 model and is compatible with the existing alpha silver series such as video encoders, decoders, codecs and digital video servers used for enterprise system solutions. Both models feature an easy configuration wizard, a virtual analogue video matrix, a wireless remote control unit with jog/shuttle control, up to 8 swappable internal hard disks and a detachable backplane for easy maintenance.

The standard models feature CIF, 6 ips /channel, 160 GB storage capacity and 1 TB ring buffer license and can easily be upgraded at any time to real-time, full frame resolution and audio for each channel through a simple software update. 8 RAID-5 controlled S-ATA drives; dual monitors and many other features are also available.

FAST has developed a high quality product for the midrange market - easy to install and to use with maximum performance at low cost. The scalability secures your investment and sets no limit to extend the system.

FAST will be at the Security 2004 to demonstrate the power of alpha technology® with the new alpha blue series in action and with new FAST Video Filter technologies. Find out more and visit FAST Video Security AG at booth No. 2-406.
