At the CeBIT 2005, Interflex publicly introduces a complete range of terminals for time management and access control – among them a number of models with touch screen display

Hanover, March 10, 2005. At the CeBIT, Interflex Datensysteme GmbH & Co. KG introduces PC-based terminals for time and production management. For the first time, recording systems of the series IF-639, IF-2338 and IF-2448 are available with touch screen displays and their performance features can be compared with those of industrial PCs. In continuing the long tradition of providing tried and tested devices with function keys and four-line display, we take pride in presenting the newly developed terminal series IF-630 and IF-635. The devices we have developed for access control applications, are able to operate not only in online but also in offline mode. Besides the proven IF-600 series, the offline terminals IF-130 and Pegasys are in the focus of attention. These devices are easy-to-install and accept available proximity badge systems. Thus, Interflex offers the best possible hardware solutions to meet any customer-specific requirements. All of the new terminals are not only suitable for cross-branch applications in time and production data management (PDR), but may also be used as components in access-control security systems. With this product offensive in hardware components, Interflex combines customer-specific requirements by providing companies, public authorities and organizations with the opportunities to utilize touch screen displays for data acquisition purposes. Menu-driven display interfaces provide our users the best possible convenience. All of the new touch screen terminals can be individually configured to meet specific needs and allowing thus, for utmost freedom in designing the user interface layout.

Interflex Touch Screen Terminals
These innovative hardware products with touch screen displays of different size not only represent a PC-based recording system but also the next hardware generation of intelligent Interflex terminals. Within a time, production or security solution, these terminals can be used in all fields of application, from production data recording to time management, from workflow integration and human resource management to employee self-service (ESS) and visitor administration. Custom-specific Windows and Linux applications complete this spectrum. Standard reading technologies, such as Proxif, LEGIC, Mifare, HID and Hitag are supported. A fully adequate, CE-certified and tested industrial PC featuring up to 512 MB RAM, 20-GB hard disk, 10.4"-TFT color display and an Ethernet interface is available.
