High-resolution colour-dome camera series with attractive features.

The new stars in the eneo Product portfolio are the Fastrax Dome camera systems. The series includes the EDC-141 high-resolution 1/4" colour dome camera with a focal length of 4.1-73.8 mm (F1.4) and 0,7 Lux sensitivity and the EDC-161 high-resolution 1/6" colour dome camera with a 2.4-60 mm focal length (F1.6) and a sensitivity of 3.0 Lux.

The fast Domes move to positions at a speed of up to 380°/sec, and up to 240 fixed positions can also be stored. They have numerous other features such as a resolution of 460 TV lines, including switchable camera parameters for day and night operation - eight alarm inputs and four outputs as well as eight programmable guard tours.

Privacy Zones keep things in Secrecy
Furthermore, up to four so-called privacy zones can be configured. These zones are sections on the video image that can be dynamically blanked out depending on the selected focal length.

Control of the dome camera is carried out by using the new eneo EDC-KBDM controller with joystick and integral 4" TFT monitor.

It is provided with password protection and also offers manual aperture and focus control, enabling of up to 240 presets as well as the download or upload of data stored in the dome camera. Control of the eneo multiplexer and eneo DLR digital recorder series is also possible with the keyboard.

Both domes are available since the 2nd quarter of 2003. A 4.9" dome housing for indoor use and a 4.9" housing for outdoor use will also be offered. Both domes come with wall/ceiling mount - the outdoor versions are fitted with heater and fan. Other assembly accessories, such as corner mount, pole mount set, are also available on request.

eneo digital recorders: DLR series

The family of eneo digital recorders offers a total choice of four models for 1-channel, 4-channel, 9-channel and 16-channel recording. All models are fitted with a LAN network connector as standard equipment. All recorders are delivered with differently sized hard disks, for the DLR-201 additional removable hard disks are optional.

The striking feature of the eneo digital recorders is the ML-JPEG compression, which achieves a savings potential of 50 percent for image storing as compared to similar systems. But this does not mean there is any loss of picture quality as this method fills the hard disk with only approximately 18KB per picture in top quality.

The recorders work in duplex mode (except DLR-201) and offer both alarm as well as audio inputs and outputs. They also have features such as motion detection and a telemetry function. In addition to excellent image quality in live and replay modes, the recorders offer the option of remote surveillance by using the RAS Remote Software (RAS = Remote Administration System). RAS can be used to store the recorder configuration on a remote PC, so the complete configuration is always retrievable and unchanged whenever recorders are exchanged or updated.

User friendly: graphically supported OSD menu
The graphically supported OSD menu (user interface) with intuitive menu prompting is designed in five languages (German, English, French, Spanish, Italian) on most DLR models (DLR-201 German, English only) and makes the different functions easily understandable for users, especially as the normal controls are on the front of the recorders. A clearly designed display provides information on the remaining system capacity at all times. Other easy-to-use features include the jog shuttle for fast image search or, for instance, the timer function for time-controlled recording.

Duplex operation (25 frames per second) allows recorded images to be viewed even during recording. Two search modes are provided for replaying images: “Event Search” finds event-based images within a second and any recording time can be retrieved immediately with “Calendar Search”. Different functions and search filters guarantee that events can be quickly retrieved and important images are never lost when an alarm triggers.

By the way, image sequences with player software can be stored on external USB external storage media by most recorders in the DLR series (DLR-201 SD card drive). This allows image replay and evaluation on all Windows 98/ME/2000 based PC systems. Of course, they can just as easily be printed out over the PostScript printer port. The whole package is rounded of with the eneo 24-month guarantee.

The choice for all purposes
The range of DLR models offers the ideal model for all CCTV applications. The DLR-201/80NW is the perfect replacement for analogue long-term recorders and eases the entry into digital recording for users. Its 80 GByte fixed removable hard disk optional (IDE) has now doubled the recorder’s recording capacity. Smaller systems are fully catered for by the four-channel DLR-204/120NW, which is a saving for users in many ways as the system combines a VCR with a multiplexer. In comparison to this, the newly available DLR-109/120NW is offered at an attractive price and covers a wide range of applications. Last but not least the system solution: the flagship of the DLR series – the DLR-116/120NW – boasts sufficient capacity for complex tasks with its 16 channels.
